About HRS

This is our fourteenth year as Home Reporter Systems and many of you have purchased our products from the beginning. To our longtime customers and friends, we thank you for your loyalty and continued support. We welcome our newest customers to our family of home inspectors.

When we started doing home inspections, there was no one willing to share information or give advice on how to start an inspection business. Even though information was difficult to find - or didn't exist - we felt strongly that it was a valuable service, especially for buyers. We spent years developing forms and researching technical information. We developed everything from scratch!

We also realized we were not alone in this struggle, that there were others like us who were discouraged and frustrated. Therefore, we began sharing information with other inspectors. For some, it was as little as giving them a phone number of a national organization, or sharing our experiences in marketing. For others, it was helping them develop marketing strategies as well as flyers, and/or answering technical questions. In 1987, we began writing it all down and 18 months later, Home Reporter Systems was founded.

We are fortunate to have had so many loyal customers over these last years, and believe it is because of our continuous efforts to answer questions and assist anyone, whether they buy our products or not. We also take suggestions seriously and have always kept our customers' needs as a main focal point.
